Meet Our Team

Meet Lisa Taormina, MOT, OTR/L. With over 22 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist, I’ve dedicated my career to helping children build independence, confidence, and functional skills in their everyday lives. My background includes extensive work with children from birth through age 22 in private practice across school-based, home and clinical settings.
Currently, I’m honored to provide outpatient pediatric OT services at Holy Cross Health, where I work with families to create customized therapy plans rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
I bring a holistic, family-centered approach to every session—looking beyond the diagnosis to truly understand a child’s strengths, challenges, and daily environment. Whether we’re working on fine motor coordination, sensory processing, or life skills, my goal is always to support meaningful progress that carries over into real life.
Above all, I believe in forming genuine partnerships with families, so they feel empowered and informed every step of the way. Watching children grow into their abilities and celebrate small victories is the heart of why I do this work.

Josie Fry M.S., CCC-SLP

Meet Josie Fry M.S., CCC-SLP. I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in outpatient pediatric care. I believe communication is the foundation for connection, confidence, and learning.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Florida State University and earned my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Florida Atlantic University. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for working with children to help them find their voices and build meaningful communication skills.

My approach to therapy is play-based, evidence-based, and family-centered. I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients and their families in which we celebrate every milestone, big or small, along the way. I thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to support each child’s unique communication journey.

One of my favorite parts of being an SLP is learning from the resilience and creativity of the children I work with. I am committed to growing as an SLP and seeking out new strategies to make therapy both effective and fun.

I’ve had the privilege of providing compassionate, evidence-based care in outpatient, private practice, and inpatient settings. These experiences drive my passion to empower every child to reach their full potential.

The therapeutic approach I bring to every session prioritizes providing open, ongoing communication with families. This allows us to design playful, personalized care plans that reflect your goals and build strength, mobility, and functional independence at every stage of your child's journey.

This approach turns physical therapy into an adventure filled with confidence, growth, and endless possibilities.

Fun Fact: Outside the clinic, I love dancing and aerial fitness. These activities keep me strong, energized, and ready to make therapy fun and effective.
